Musings of the Mind
Three months in and the pattern is no longer a pattern — it's a shape. Across unrelated case files, in unrelated decades, in unrelated countries, the same cluster keeps appearing: unusually fast neurological recovery, accelerated learning curves that don't fit any known developmental model, and a small, stubborn footnote in four separate studies describing "unexplained correspondence of thought" between subjects who had no contact with one another.
None of the studies use the word psychic. They don't have to. The data does the implying for them.
I keep returning to one line from the case notes of a subject referred to only as B: "it can be unlocked. it does not want to be found before it is unlocked."
I don't know what that means yet. I wrote it down anyway.
